Making friends through Triage

Hanna and Joanne met at Triage through our Working for Families programme in North Lanarkshire (part of the Scottish government’s hashtag No One Left Behind initiative).

As well as finding employment, the pair found friendship.

“One of the things I loved at Triage was the social aspect – I met my good friend, Hanna,” said Joanne. “You can make friends that last out of the programme.”

Joanne now works for Citizens Advice and Hanna is well on her way to self-employment with the help of her Triage adviser, Alma and specialist organisation, Business Gateway.

As Hanna put it: "At Triage, you can find friends and you can find yourself."
