Last month, some of our North East colleagues climbed Helvellyn to raise funds for Alice House Hospice - a local charity that provides compassionate care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses.

The team used their giving back days to raise £2,070 for the local charity. Post-probation, Triage colleagues get two fully paid working days off per year to give back.

“Not only did we take on one of the Lake District’s most iconic mountains, but we did it as a team, supporting, encouraging and motivating each other every step of the way. There were tired legs, plenty of laughs, breathtaking views and definitely a few moments of wondering how much further we had to go! But reaching the top together made every single step worth it...I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, encouraged and supported us along the way,” said Gemma Marriott, Performance Manager.
