Violet's proud to be working again

“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to take part in this and believing in me,” said Violet. “Your belief, encouragement, patience and support have changed my life in ways I cannot fully express.”

In 2020, following an accident while on holiday, Violet was unable to continue working. In the years that followed, Violet’s mental health deteriorated, making it increasingly difficult to find work. Working on the Restart Scheme with Stephanie Mawson (her advisor), the pair came up with a tailored support plan focusing on mental health, wellbeing, confidence building and mindset. With support from our employer services team (Samantha Porteous, Vicky Bell and Daniel Lee), a care vacancy came up which Violet successfully secured in July 2026. 

“Because of your support, I have been able to return to work and rebuild my life. I am proud to be working once again. I feel happy, valued and hopeful for the future,” concluded Violet.
