Susan's self-employment success

Two women sat on yoga mats with their legs crossed looking at each other.

When Susan returned to England after a successful DJing career in Europe, she wanted to explore a new industry and take her love of yoga and reiki and create a business.

“Susan’s ambition and drive to succeed was almost contagious. From our first meeting I felt excited about what was to come. Susan was passionate, determined and because of her previous self-employment experience, it was clear that she was someone who could make her dreams a reality,” said Stephanie Campbell, Self-Employment Adviser.

Together, Susan and Steph started working on a business plan and how Susan could use social media to market her newest venture.

Susan decided to invest in Spinal Energetics; a powerful holistic modality that unlocks stress, trauma and tension from your body. This is an Australian-founded healing technique and something Susan was keen to bring to home to England.

“As a team, we volunteered some of our free time and joined some of Susan’s session. Everyone left feeling such positivity and energy,” said Steph.

Triage’s support didn’t end there though. Susan needed imagery for marketing collateral but lacked the funds to splash out on a professional photographer. Our colleague/ professional photographer (in her spare time!), Chantelle, offered to take some headshots for Susan to help elevate her business and create some high-end marketing materials:

''Thank you so much I can't tell you how much of a lift that gave me for being able to get some photos done. I really am grateful," said Susan.
